Composer
Contemporary and cinematic music shaped by narrative, texture and emotional clarity.
BIOGRAPHY · BRUSSELS, BELGIUM
Yannis Koser is a Brussels-based composer, classical guitarist and music educator whose work moves between contemporary classical music, cinematic writing and experimental sound.

ARTIST BIO
Working across piano, classical guitar, orchestral colour and ambient textures, Yannis creates music as a sensory space. Silence, resonance, memory and timbre become materials for shaping experiences that are intimate, visual and quietly transformative.
His imagination is nourished by nature, psychology, perception and the invisible emotional layers of everyday life. Rather than following rigid conventions, he looks for the precise form each idea requires, from a concert work or piano miniature to music for film, visual storytelling or a distinctive sonic identity.
Classically trained as a guitarist and active in music pedagogy for more than a decade, he brings the same attention to teaching: nuance before display, understanding before repetition, and an individual progression for every learner. His work with children, teenagers and adults connects technique, musicality and confidence.
Based in Brussels, Yannis continues to develop new compositions, recordings and collaborations while teaching classical guitar. Across these different practices, the intention remains constant: to create a meaningful relationship between sound and the person receiving it.
